This Privacy Policy applies when you access or use Ajanda, including when you create an account, complete questionnaires, upload content, use journaling or goal-related features, use AI-powered features, contact support, or otherwise interact with the service.
Ajanda is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, do not use the service or submit personal information to us.
We may collect the following categories of information:
Account information: email address, authentication-related information, and sign-in method, such as email login or Google login.
Profile information: display name and any profile information you choose to provide.
Submitted content: questionnaire responses, uploaded photos, journal entries, goals, affirmations, check-ins, notes, prompts, and other content you submit through the service.
Generated content: vision films, still images, insights, summaries, and other outputs generated through your use of the service.
Technical and usage information: IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, log data, error data, approximate location derived from technical data, and similar information needed to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, monitor, and defend the service.
Support communications: messages you send to us and the information contained in those communications.

We do not use your photos, journal entries, goals, affirmations, prompts, or other user content to train Ajanda's models or third-party AI models on our behalf, except where expressly disclosed in this Privacy Policy or where any consent required by applicable law has been obtained.

Ajanda is designed as a private service. Content such as journal entries, goals, affirmations, check-ins, uploaded photos, and generated outputs is not publicly visible to other users by default.
Ajanda does not currently offer public profiles, public feeds, or community features that make such content visible to other users through the service.
Photos and other uploaded content are processed in order to provide the features you request, including personalized media generation and related outputs.
We do not use your photos for facial recognition, biometric identification, or automated identity verification.
If you upload content containing another person, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and consents required for that content to be uploaded to and processed by Ajanda. You are responsible for the content you submit and for any claims, disputes, or legal consequences arising from content submitted without proper authorization.
If you download, export, or share content outside Ajanda, including through social media, messaging apps, or other third-party platforms, that content is no longer under our control. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, use, redistribution, modification, or further disclosure of content after it leaves the service.
Some Ajanda features rely on third-party AI providers in order to process requests and generate outputs.
We do not use your content to train Ajanda's models or third-party AI models on our behalf. However, some features require us to send limited data to third-party providers so they can process your request under their own terms, policies, and technical infrastructure.
For the Insights feature, we currently use Google's Gemini API. When you use Insights, the goal and check-in data needed to generate the insight may be sent to Google.
We do not send your photos, journal entries, email address, or login credentials to Gemini for this feature.
For image and video generation features, we currently use fal.ai as a third-party provider. When you use these features, the photos, prompts, and other input data needed to generate the requested output may be sent to fal.ai for processing.
We may change AI providers, models, infrastructure, and workflows at any time without prior notice.
We use third-party providers to operate Ajanda and its infrastructure. These providers may process personal information as part of the services they provide to us or to the service.

Ajanda may use providers that store or process personal information in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States and other jurisdictions where our providers operate.

Ajanda uses local storage, session storage, authentication tokens, and similar technical mechanisms necessary for login, session management, security, and core service functionality.
We do not currently use marketing cookies.
If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or consent required by applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated version and revising the "Last updated" date above. Updated versions become effective when posted, unless we state a different effective date.
We may, but are not obligated to, provide additional notice of updates through the service or by email.
